and we celebrated the occasion with a trip to the Austin Zoo. Funnily enough, I had never been. I wasn't expecting much, but was pretty impressed with the place. It's a small zoo but they had all the good animals...lions, tigers, bears (okay, just one bear but still). Dane didn't seem too into it at first, but he got pretty excited by the lions. I think he thought it was a big version of Loki. After the zoo, we were hot and sweaty so we found a Dairy Queen and got some soft serve. It was a fun family Saturday!
