I ran the Capitol 10K on April 11th and finished 136 in my group (30-34 females) of 714. It was pretty fun, but in my typical fashion I didn't allow enough time to park and ended up having to leave the car at Chuy's on Barton Springs (thank goodess they didn't tow me) because it was 8:37 and my race was supposed to begin at 8:45 and I was STILL stuck in traffic that wouldn't move. I had to pretty much sprint all the way down Barton Springs to the Congress start line and just barely caught the tail end of my group. So I started the race tired, which is not a good way to begin a 6-mile run. Oh well.
